Clear Channel’s Mobile Platform brings Metro to your bus stop

 
Clear Channel UK and Metro have announced a partnership that will bring free news, sport and entertainment to commuters at mobile-enabled bus shelters right across the UK.
 
In the first partnership of its kind, consumers who tap or scan their smartphone on the interactive tags on 10,000 of Clear Channel’s Adshel bus shelters and award-winning digital roadside network will be able to access free content from Metro’s mobile site. The partnership launched on 2nd of September and will run for an initial three months.  

To support the partnership, Clear Channel will carry Metro advertising promoting the new service while Metro will run a campaign raising consumer awareness of Clear Channel’s Mobile Platform and demonstrating how to use the Platform to access Metro’s content.

Clear Channel’s Mobile Platform launched in early 2013. The Platform gives advertisers the opportunity to deepen their engagement with consumers by offering interaction, social media integration and real-time content updates, while consumers can use their NFC and QR-enabled smartphones to access journey information and download vouchers and promotions. The platform is supported by a full reporting network to help brands effectively track responses.
