Cromwell Road uses the force in the first 3D Star Wars Film
Clear Channel’s flagship Cromwell Road site will be home to Darth Maul and co for the next two weeks as Twentieth Century Fox and Lucasfilm promotes the first of the iconic Star Wars films to be released in 3D. Hitting cinemas on February 9th, the creative for ‘Star Wars Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace’ features pod racers, the iconic lightsaber and 3D title treatment to ensure maximum stand out. The campaign was booked by Vizeum and Posterscope and managed through Hyperspace.
Neil Chapman, Group Head for Create at Clear Channel UK, said:
“The huge scale of our Cromwell Road site is very appropriate to convey the stature of one of films biggest franchises. With a team of Star Wars fans here it was very exciting to help promote the first 3D film with a suitably impactful build for the launch.”
Spanning 75 metres and running across six consecutive 96-sheet billboards on Europe’s busiest A-road, the Cromwell Road site forms part of Clear Channel’s Pinnacle division, the number one collection of premium outdoor sites in the UK.
