Konami reaches young male audience via Hi-Tech Media bar campaign

The games giant, Konami, is running a bar campaign with Hi-Tech to promote the much anticipated release of Pro Evolution 2012.
 
Having booked washroom panels, beermats and Trendy TV, they are the first brand to incorporate the new digital offering into a more traditional bar campaign. Konami is taking full advantage of the extended dwell time bar media offers by placing QR codes on each format, offering the audience the chance to win a trip to the Bernabeu in Madrid to watch Cristiano Ronaldo play.
 
The activity is running nationwide, in close proximity to football stadia and bars showing Sky Sports.
The campaign was planned by Ed Rowlands at Target Media, and booked by Roy Shepherd from Posterscope.
