Universal Pictures promote "The Change-Up" through Admedia Connections

Admedia recently showcased their new mobile technology, Admedia Connections in a campaign to promote Comedy flick ‘The Change Up’, from Universal pictures . Utilising QR code technology provided by Admedia, the posters were designed to connect straight to the film’s trailer on YouTube. As part of the package Admedia Connections provided trackable data throughout the campaign, giving Universal an invaluable insight into their target audience & a great result of 1129 consumers who scanned the QR code to get to the trailer during the two week campaign period.

‘We recently took advantage of Admedia’s new mobile offering- Admedia Connections, to help promote the theatrical release of our film ‘The Change Up’. We created A3 Washroom panels that were designed to push consumers online to view the film’s trailer via Youtube, with the help of a QR code provided for us by Admedia. Admedia also managed the QR code responses throughout the campaign which meant we were able to track each download, look at response trends and provide data for our client. The campaign was a success, with 1129 responses across 2000 panels throughout Bars, Pubs & Clubs. These results demonstrated a real synergy between Admedia’s audiences and the people we were trying to target- tech-savvy socialisers who are keen cinema goers.’
